Project scope

The Walrus needed a piece to be designed to promote the Well Read Event; a part of the Luminato festival held in Toronto. As a promotional piece, the brochure needed to stand out from other promotional items and needed to excite people to pickup and read the brochure.

Solution

To reflect the excitement surrounding this event, bright & saturated colours were used to create visual impact on the front cover along with the Walrus crest. Based on client feedback and a joint brainstorming session, we decided the overall layout would use large blocks of colour to separate each event during the festival, creating an eye catching design as well as separating each event.
